Good news for Resident Evil fans who have upgraded to a PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series. Capcom is going to bring Resident Evil 7 and the remakes to Next-Gen consoles.
Resident Evil 7 along with the Resident Evil 2 and 3 remakes PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series later this year. The Next-Gen versions will feature enhanced visuals. Fans who already own the PS4 or Xbox One version will be eligible for a free digital upgrade. The announcement was made in the following Tweet:
Resident Evil 7: Biohazard was the eleventh game in the series and the first main entry to be played from a first-person perspective. The story follows Ethan Winters to search for his missing wife at an abandon plantation populated by a family infected with a deadly plague. You can check out my review of the game here.
