Anime fans at UC Berkeley and around the East Bay will be excited to learn that Cal Animage Alpha has announced the date for Anime Destiny 2026. They have also announced that Ray Chase and Amber Lee Connors will be guests at the event.

Meet the Guests

Ray Chase is a voice actor who is best known for his roles as Ryomen Sukuna on Jujutsu Kaisen and Tengen Uzui in Demon Slayer. His other iconic roles include Bruno Bucciarati in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Golden Wind, Gendo Ikari in the Netflix dub version of Neon Genesis Evangelion, and Scott Summers / Cyclops on X-Men ’97. Gamers will recognize him for his role as NieR in Act II of Nier Replicant ver.1.22474487139. Other video game roles include Guile in Street Fighter 6 and Neuvillette in Genshin Impact.

Amber Lee Connors is a voice actress who is best known for her role as Shoko Komi on Komi Can’t Communicate. She is also best known for her role as Pieck Finger / the Cart Titan in Attack on Titan. Her other notable roles include Ms. Joke on My Hero Academia and Shino Madarame in Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War. She has also worked as an ADR director and writer for several shows.

Planning for Anime Destiny

Anime Destiny 2026 will be held on November 15th from 10 am to 7 pm at the MLK Student Union on the University of California, Berkeley campus. This year’s theme focuses on fantasy. Tickets are now available for sale. Addtional guests plus details about panels and special events will be announced in the future.

Anime Destiny is a one-day event organized by Cal Animage Alpha, the anime club of the University of California, Berkeley. Cal Animage Alpha also hosts regular anime themed meetups and gatherings for students on the campus, along with the surrounding areas.
