900 years of time and space and I’ve never met anybody who wasn’t important before.
Looks like outside of London, the best place to be a Whovian would be the the Bay Area. Case in point – the news that Matt Smith will be a guest at San Francisco Comic Con 2018.
Matt Smith is best known for his role as the 11th Doctor on Doctor Who from 2010 -2014 (being succeeded by Peter Capaldi). His other notable roles include Prince Philip in The Crown, Skynet in Terminator Genisys, Patrick Batmen in stage adaptation of American Psycho, and he is set to star in the upcoming film Patient Zero.
He will be joined by 80’s film star Michael Biehn, acclaimed voice actor Kevin Conroy who is known for his work as Batman in the DC Animated Universe, Nolan North who voices Nathan Drake in the Uncharted series, Rodger Bumpass who is best known for his role as Squidward Tentacles on SpongeBob SquarePants, award winning artist Adam Hughes, and cosplayer Yaya Han just to name a few.
San Francisco Comic Con returns for a third year and will be hosted at the Oakland Convention Center during the weekend of June 8th to June 10th. Tickets are now available for purchase and more guests will be announced in the months leading up to the event.
If you can’t make it to San Francisco Comic Con, just a friendly reminder that David Tennant will be at Silicon Valley Comic Con.
