Silicon Valley Comic Con 2019 is almost here but the guest list continues to grow as it has been confirmed that John Milius will be present during the weekend.

John Milius is an iconic screen writer and director whose work has been a staple of the New Hollywood era of cinema. As a screen writer, his most iconic work was the screenplay for Dirty Harry and Apocalypse Now. As a director he is best known for Red Dawn and Conan: The Barbarian. Outside of cinema, he penned the screenplay for the game Homefront and was a key player in the establishment of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).

He will be joining pop-culture icon Arnold Schwarzenegger, Julie Benz from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Lou Ferrigno from The Incredible Hulk, Morena Baccarin from Deadpool, 80’s action star Michael Biehn, David Harbour from Stranger Things, Ben McKenzie from Gotham along with Jason Momoa from Aquaman and Game of Thrones just to name a few. Fans could expect more big announcements in the coming months.

Silicon Valley Comic Con 2019 will be from August 16 until the 18 the at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center along with the surrounding locations. Hosted by Steve Wozniak, the event brings together the world of science and pop-culture for a festive weekend.
