Big news for anime fans in San Francisco, the Balboa Theater will be hosting Ghibli Fest on Labor Day.
Ghibli Fest at the Balboa Theater will be a one day event that will allow audiences to enjoy four iconic films back to back (both sub and dubbed versions). Theater 1 will feature the dubbed version while Theater 2 will feature the original sub version.
Tickets are on sale now and the cost of admission will cover all four films for the day. The selection for Ghibli Fest are as followed:
* Castle in the Sky
* Princess Mononoke
* Kiki’s Delivery Service
* Spirited Away
Ghibli Fest will take place on September 2nd with the first screening set for 11:00am.
The Balboa Theater is an independent movie theater located on 3630 Balboa St, San Francisco. They are known for showing indie films, classics tiles and new releases.
