Capcom has unveiled details about Resident Evil: Village, this includes the release date along with pre-order bonuses. The announcement also confirmed plot elements and a new multiplayer game is in the works. Also, yes more information about Lady Dimitrescu (better known as the Tall Vampire Lady).
Set several years after the events of the previous game, players will once again take on the role of Ethan Winters. After a shocking encounter with Chris Redfield, he arrives to a village in search of answers. He is however greeted by a verity of horrors. Making matters worst is that he is being hunted by Lady Dimitrescu and her demonic daughters. Players must survive the horrors of the village while trying to uncover the secrets of what is happening.
PlayStation 5 fans could get a sample of what to expect with the Maiden demo. This stand alone experience has players take on the role of an unnamed character who must escape the castle. The demo will also showcase the stunning visuals and terrifying atmosphere.

Capcom also confirmed that Resident Evil Re:Verse is in the works and set to launch this year. This is a multiplayer game that allows players to take on the role of their favorite character and battle it out. Four to Six players will compete in a death match set in maps based on iconic levels from the series. Each playable character will have their own unique weapons and skills.
Resident Evil: Village is set to launch on May 7th for all current and Next-Gen consoles along with the PC. Those who purchase the game for the PlayStation 4 or Xbox One are eligible for a free upgrade to Next-Gen consoles.
Fans will be excited to learn that the game now available for pre-order. There is a standard edition along with several special edition. The Deluxe Edition includes in-game content such as the Samurai Edge, found footage screen filter and more. The Collector’s Edition will includes the Deluxe Edition content plus a statue of Chris Redfield, an art book, and a cloth map of the village (with hidden details).
