Voting for the Audience Awards at GDC 2017 has Begun

Online voting for the Audience Award for both the Game Developers Choice Awards and the Independent Games Festival Awards at the Game Developers Conference 2017 has begun.

Among the titles that have been nominated for the 17 Annual Game Developers Choice Awards are Battlefield 1, Doom, Overwatch and Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. Meanwhile titles such as 1979 Revolution: Black Friday, Inside and Close have been nominated for the 19th Annual Independent Games Festival Awards.

Participants can cast their vote online for either Game Developers Choice Award or the Independent Games Festival Awards online. Voting ends onĀ January 31 at 11:59pm PT while the winner will be announced during a special ceremony on March 1st during the Game Developers Conference.

The 2017 Game Developers Conference will take place from February 27 until March 3rd and it’s designed to inform and educateĀ industry professionals. Past winners of the Audience Award include Life is Strange and The Stanley Parable.
