Does the idea of a Star Wars anime spark your interest? If so then good news as Lucasfilm has announced that Star Wars: Vision will have its premier during Anime Expo Lite 2021.

Star Wars: Vision is an anthology series that will feature anime inspired shorts that are set in a galaxy far, far away. The premier will take place during a special panel featuring Chastity Vicencio of Ubisoft along with Jacqui Lopez, James Waugh, and Josh Rimes of Lucasfilm. Also present will be Justin Leach and Kanako Shirasaki of Qubic Pictures.

The event will take place on July 3rd starting at 3pm (PST), a ticket is required to watch. Tickets for Anime Expo Lite are on sale now with all proceeds going towards Hate is a Virus commUNITY Action Fund (a community organization determined to fight the racism against Asian Americans fueled by the COVID-19 pandemic).

Anime Expo Lite is an all digital event organized and hosted by the Society for the Promotion of Japanese Animation as a substitution for the live event. The live event is one of the largest anime conventions in the world and it attract over 100,000 guests. To have an idea of what to expect, check out my coverage of Anime Expo 2019.
