A pop-culture icon and a hero to so many, Stan Lee has passed away at the age of 95.
The world was shocked to learn that Stan Lee, the creator of so many iconic characters and an icon of pop-culture, had passed away on November 11th 2018 at the age of 95.
Born Stanley Martin Lieber on December 28, 1922, he was the Editor-in-Chief of Marvel Comics and was responsible for creating some of the most iconic comic characters in collaboration with Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko. Among his most iconic works have been Spider-Man, The Fantastic Four, Iron Man, the X-Men and the Hulk just to name a few. For his work in the comic industry – he has been inducted into the Will Eisner Award Hall of Fame and the Jack Kirby Hall of Fame while also having been awarded the National Medal of Arts. During his lifetime, he has a major influence not just among those in the comic world but also those in the film and video game industry.
