Netflix Orders a Second Season of Castlevania

Even though there won’t be any new games but following the success of the animated adaptation of Castlevania, Netflix has ordered a second season on the same day as the launch of Season 1.

Castlevania Season 2 will continue the story of Trevor Belmont as he attempts to end Dracula’s reign of terror. The new season is set to feature eight episodes instead of four but it’s unknown when it will be released.

Season 1 of Castlevania was released on Netflix on July 7 and it has been praised by fans along with critics. Based on the hit video game series, Season 1 focuses on Trevor Belmont trying to save a city from demons and a corrupt Church official. You could check out our review here.
