To ensure the safety of everyone, it has been announced that Kin-Yoobi Con 2021 will be an all digital event.
To ensure everyone’s safety and not take any risks, it has been announced that Kin-Yoobi Con 2021 will be an all digital event. Like so many events this summer, organizers want to play it safe should cases start to spike.
Kin-Yoobi Con 2021will be a digital event that will honor the conventions 15 year history. It will take place on August 21st. The event will feature panels and other activities hosted online (via live stream). No panel or activities list has been made available yet but that information will become available in the coming months.

This will not be the first Kin-Yoobi Con to go all digital. Their 2020 event had to go all digital due to the pandemic.
The announcement comes after a number of conventions announced they are going all digital or pushed back to 2022. E3, San Diego Comic Con, Crunchyroll Expo and Anime Expo all announced an all digital event for 2021. Other conventions have made the choice to cancel their 2021.
Kin-Yoobi Con is an East Bay anime convention that invites fans for a day of fun with local clubs and vendors. The only time we have been to Kin-Yoobi Con was back in 2017, you can check out the highlights.
