Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands was released a few weeks ago to critical praise while also receiving admiration from one of the most iconic leaders in the gaming industry, Hideo Kojima.

Kojima posted a photo of him self with a copy of the Calvera Collectors edition of the game on his Twitter page,

The official Ghost Recon Twitter along with several members of the development team responded to Tweet to show their appreciation.

Given his legacy, those in the gaming industry consider a praise from Kojima to be a great honor. This is also not the first time Kojima has praised a Tom Clancy title as he has on multiple occasion shared his admiration for Tom Clancy’s The Division.

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands is the sixth game in the series and the first that was released after the passing of the acclaimed author. The game follows the Ghosts as they are deployed to Bolivia to take down the Santa Blanca (similar to the novel, Clear and Present Danger).

  1. Hideo Kojima is not an icon, he is a god among mortals. I now want to get Ghost Recon now that Kojima has given his approval.

  2. So has kojima now become a cheerleader for ubisucks or is he trying to ditch his studio by kissing up to the othe guys? Wildlands sucked and its real sad Kojima would want to promote there garbage just get a few likes.
