The Resident Evil 2 remake is already one of the most popular games of 2019 but Capcom is giving fans another reason to love it more with the announcement of a free DLC.

The Ghost Survivors DLC is a “what if” scenario that shines a light on three character and looks at what would have happened if they had survived the outbreak. The focus on the story will be on a member of HUNK’s squad, Robert Kendo, and Katherine Warren.

The DLC is expected to be release on February 15th and more information about the game play will be announced in the coming weeks.

The highly anticipated remake of Resident Evil 2 was released for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on January 25th. The game follow Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield as they attempt to escape Raccoon City during outbreak of the T-Virus. Check out my review of the remake just to get an idea of what to expect.

The original Resident Evil 2 was the second game in the horror series and has been hailed as the one of the greatest horror games of all time. The game was first released in 1998 for the PlayStation then ported over to the PC, Nintendo 64, and Sega Dreamcast.
