Old-school horror gamers are going to have a special Halloween as Assemble Entertainment will release Flesh Made Fear in October 2025.

Flesh Made Fear is a retro-inspired horror game set to launch for the PC on October 31st, 2025. The game is now available to wishlist on Steam.

Players will assume the role of either Jack or Natalie, operatives of the Reaper Intervention Platoon. They have been deployed to the town of Rotwood on a mission to detain Victor “The Dripper” Ripper, a former government researcher gone rogue. Upon their arrival to the town, it’s discovered that he has unleashed a deadly bioweapon.

The gameplay follows the style of classic survival horror, blending fixed and dynamic camera angles depending on the situation. Players must manage limited resources with restricted inventory space. Heightening the challenge is a limited number of save opportunities. The story unfolds as they solve a series of puzzles.

Additional information about the Flesh Made Fear, along with potential console releases, will be available in the future. The demo of the game is currently available and it lets players step into the role of Jack.
