Mario Fanimania VII 8Bit/Digi

FanimeCon 2020 may have been cancelled but Fanimania VII is still happening, only as an all digital event. The Cosplay Wrestling Federation has posted its itinerary for the event set to take place this weekend.

Instead of the traditional showdown as seen at past events, Fanimania VII will be a three day interactive event. Everything will be broadcasted on CWF’s official Twitch channel. The events are as followed:

Day 1 will feature three panels that showcases an insight into the CWF and its community. It will start with “The Stage is My Ring: Acting 101” followed by “Music Sets the Pace (How Music Shapes a Pro Wrestler)” and ends with “Using Pro Wrestling to Unlock Your Inner Performer”. The day will end with a late night game stream with G.

Day 2 : “Suplex Arts Online” is a battle royale featuring the largest roster of CWF stars. Featuring live action commentary as audience cheer for their favorite to dominate the digital world. This is followed by a WWW Fan Session on discord.

Day 3: “CWF Presents: The Match Game! Hosted by Tommy Wiseau!”will have your favorite CWF stars match wits against two contestants. It will be followed with the CWF Jackbox Afterparty.

Fanimania has been a staple and one of the most popular shows at FanimeCon. This organization is in response to FanimeCon 2020 being cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the “shelter in place” issued in California.

In the spirit of wrestling and cosplay, Cosplay Wrestling Federation has the most iconic characters in pop-culture go toe-to-toe in a battle of personalities. The show has been a staple of video game and anime conventions in California.

Update and Correction: An earlier version of this article left out several major activities that are planned. We have now corrected this mistake and would like to thank the CWF team for informing me of this error. We would like to apologize to the CWF and their amazing team for this oversight.
