After months of waiting in anticipation, fans now know when the next Earth Defense Force game will launch. D3 Publisher has announced that Earth Defense Force 6 is set to launch in July 2024 for the PlayStation consoles and PC.

Earth Defense Force 6 is set to launch on July 25th for the PlayStation 4, 5, and PC. Set three years after the events of Earth Defense Force 5, it follows humanity trying to rebuild after the war. However, remnants of the Primers still remain on Earth and they threaten what is left of humanity. It’s up to the EDF to protect what is left of human civilization.

The game is also available for pre-order with some additional bonuses. Among the bonus content are the Reverse Core Type-N auxiliary equipment for the Wing Divers. Also included are three decoys based on Vtubers Takanashi Kiara, Gawr Gura, and IRyS. Players who purchase the game will also be eligible to receive Hololive bonus items up to five months after launch.
