Atlus has released a new trailer for Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance that highlights the expanded story.
Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance – An Ideal World presents a more in-depth look into the expanded story. The trailer highlights a post-apocalyptic Tokyo decimated by angels and demons while asking the player what path they will take. Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance is also now available for pre-order. Fans have the choice between the Deluxe Edition or the Standard Edition. The Deluxe Edition will include the base game plus the 2 Sacred Treasure Sets Bonus along with five DLCs. The game is set to launch on June 14th for all major consoles and the PC.
The original Shin Megami Tensei V was released for the Nintendo Switch back in 2021 and was highly praised. It’s the fifth game in the mainline series. The story follows the protagonist who gets caught in a war between angels and demons in an apocalyptic world called Da’at.
Vengeance will now be the second Shin Megami Tensei to launch in 2024 following Persona 3 Reload, which launched back in February. To have an idea about that game, check out our review.
