Cosplaying has always been a tradition at every fan convention, and GalaxyCon San Jose 2026 is no exception. Many have worked to modify or update their cosplay for this special weekend. Others are using the weekend to test out their new project or to premiere it for all to see.

During the GalaxyCon San Jose 2026 weekend, many cosplayers were out in their best or favorite work. Some cosplayers were deeply dedicated to faithfully bringing their favorite characters to life. Others infused their outfits with personal flair or a unique twist. A few went the extra mile to turn a joke or meme into a clever cosplay. For many, this weekend was the perfect moment to debut their latest creative project. The fandoms ranged from films like Star Wars, to comics like X-Men, to video games like the Persona series.

Cosplaying and cosplay gatherings were among the many highlights of GalaxyCon San Jose 2026. While there is a plethora of fun during the weekend, cosplaying will always be one of the hallmarks of the overall experience. The event saw the pop culture convention return for a third year at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center from August 28th to August 30th.
