Activision and Infinity Ward have revealed the story trailer for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, which gave more details about the story along with introducing several major new characters.
The story is set in a distant future were humanity has established colonies across the universe that are governed by the United Nations Space Alliance (UNSA) and protected by the Solar Associated Treaty Organization (SATO). Meanwhile a new radical poltical organization, Settlement Defense Front (SDF), emerges with the goal of breaking away from the UNSA.
The conflict escalates into a full blown war when the SDF launches a surprise attack against the UNSA capital of Geneva while crippling the SATO fleet. With limited time and resources, Captain Nick Reyes and the crew of the UNSA Warship Retribution must launch a counter offensive before the SDF could win the war.
The story trailer added more details to the plot of the game, such as the attack on Geneva and what is at steak in the war. It also introduced Rear Admiral Salen Kotch (played by Kit Harington), leader of the SDF and the games main antagonist.
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare will be the thirteenth game in the iconic shooter series and it’s set to be released on November 4th for all major consoles along with the PC.
