During Anime Expo 2024, Spike Chunsoft, Inc. announced a limited edition version of Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODEPlus will be available for Steam.
Lucid-Noir Limited Edition is a physical copy that with a voucher for Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE Plus on Steam. The set will include an outerbox with artwork by Rui Komatsuzaki, and a SteelBook case. Also included will be a Shinigami plush, the official soundtrack, and a copy of the novel How to Be a Master Detective: A Halara Nightmare Case.
Pre-orders for the Steam version of the Lucid-Noir Limited Edition are scheduled to begin early Fall 2024.
Also announced was the Digital Deluxe Edition of the game. It will include the base game along with a digital soundtrack and artbook.
Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE is a noir-style detective game from the creators of the Danganronpa series. Players take on the role of Yuma, a detective in training, as he works to solve a series of cases. He must collaborate with other Master Detectives, each possessing unique abilities, as well as with the spirit Shinigami, to solve each case.
RAIN CODE Plus will launch on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC on October 1st. The original game launched on the Nintendo Switch in 2023 and was highly praised.
Anime Expo is the largest anime convention in North America and one of the biggest events in the industry. Organized by the Society for the Promotion of Japanese Animation (SPJA), the event brings major leaders of the industry while inviting the fandom for an eventful weekend. The 2024 event will take place from July 4th to July 7th at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
