Star Wars: Leia, Princess of Alderaan and Star Wars: Rebels are two memorable stories set before the events of A New Hope. While no date has been set, the target window is sometime in Fall 2020. That information and the final cover art will be announced in the future.
Star Wars: Leia, Princess of Alderaan is based on the novel by Claudia Gray and will include artwork by Haruichi Furudate. The story follows the rise of Leia and how she grows to become a major political figure in the galaxy while also working to organize the Rebel Alliance.
Star Wars: Rebels is a manga adaptation of the hit animated series on Disney+. The story follows the creation of the Rebel Alliance following the eradication of the Jedi Order and Palpatine declaring himself Emperor.
Yen Press is an American publishing house that focuses on manga’s and graphic novels. They are based in New York and are co-owned by Kadokawa Corporation and Hachette Book Group.
