Turok Dino Hunter

Night Dive Studios has announced that they are working on a remastered version of the classic shooters, Turok: Dinosaur Hunter and Turok 2: Seed of Evil for the PC.

Turok: Dinosaur Hunter and Turok 2: Seed of Evil were originally released for the Nintendo 64 along with the PC back in the late 90’s. Night Dive Studios plans to restore these classics and release them either through their own site or through digital distribution services like Steam.

CEO of Night Dive Studios, Stephen Kick, has stated,

“When Turok: Dinosaur Hunter was first released it was nothing short of revolutionary. To that point, no game had ever offered the combination of graphics and an open world environment that Turok featured. We are very excited to have the opportunity to bring this great franchise back to life and to be able to share these great titles with today’s gaming audience.”

No release date has been made available at the moment.

Turok: Dinosaur Hunter along with Turok 2: Seed of Evil was an adaptation of the comic series that follows the journey of Turok (a title bestowed upon a warrior) as he fights to protect the barriers between Earth and the Lost Land.

Night Dive Studios is an independent developer the focuses on restoring and re-releasing classic video games for the PC. Among the classics they have restored are System Shocks 2 and Shadow Man.
