Bandai Namco has unveiled the gameplay trailer for the upcoming game, Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Battle Destiny Remastered.

Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Battle Destiny Remastered is now available for digital pre-orders for the Nintendo Switch and the PC via Steam. The game itself is set to launch on May 22nd, 2025. The original Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Battle Destiny was released back in 2012 for the PlayStation Portable in Japan only.

Mobile Suit Gundam SEED is the ninth Gundam series and the first set in the Cosmic Era (CE) timeline. In this era, humanity is divided between Naturals and Coordinators—genetically enhanced humans who live in space. This tension erupts into a war between the Earth Forces and ZAFT, the Coordinators’ military. The story follows Kira Yamato, who is thrust into the conflict as a Gundam pilot when ZAFT forces attack his colony.

Gundam is a media franchise that follows an interstellar conflict involving mobile suits. The franchise includes the main series followed by numerous spin-offs along with video games and models (dubbed Gunpla). The original series, Mobile Suit Gundam, follows the One Year War between the Earth Federation and the Principality of Zeon.
