As part of its ongoing growth strategy and rebranding, THQ Nordic has announced that they have acquired all of NovaLogic major franchises.

THQ Nordic now owns the rights to all of NovaLogic franchises which includes Delta Force series, Comanche series and Joint Operations just to name a few. However there is no word on when a new title based on the acquired IP’s will be made or if there will be an HD port of any of the original games.

NovaLogic founder and CEO, John Garcia, stated in a press release,

After 30 years of creating ground breaking Computer and Video Games we are proud to pass the baton to THQ Nordic. As individuals, they are enthusiastic gamers and as a company have shown the agility and acumen needed to propel our industry towards a much-needed reset

In the same press release;  Business and Product Development Director of THQ Nordic, Reinhard Pollice, also stated,

We are extremely satisfied with the new additions to our portfolio, and also very thrilled about how to continue some of said franchises, we are open for talks in this regard if any developer approaches us with a concept for a potential sequel to any IP.

This announcement comes several months after Nordic Games rebranded itself as THQ Nordic back in August while announcing several major releases in late 2016.It’s unclear what new projects NovaLogic is working on as the last title they made was released back in 2009.
