The third batch of guests for Silicon Valley Comic Con 2018 includes several iconic performers and leaders in the gaming industry.
Silicon Valley Comic Con 2018 is only a few months away but the guest list keeps growing with several iconic performers and leaders in the gaming industry. New to the guest list are Jeff Goldblum, Ian McDiarmid, Katee Sackhoff, Kiki Wolfkill, and Mac Walters.
Jeff Goldblum is an actor who is well known for playing some of the most iconic characters in horror and science fiction. He started in numerous small bits before gaining fame for his role as Seth Brundle in The Fly. His most well known role is as Dr. Ian Malcolm in Jurassic Park and David Levinson in Independence Day.
Ian McDiarmid is an actor who is best known for his role as Emperor Sheev Palpatine in the Star Wars franchise, being praised as one of the greatest villains in pop-culture. He is also a respected stage actor, having been awarded numerous accolades including a Tony Award and a Laurence Olivier Award.
Katee Sackhoff is an actress who is best known for her role as Lt. Kara “Starbuck” Thrace on the Battlestar Galactica reboot. Her other notable roles are Dahl in Riddick, Amunet on The Flash and Dana Walsh on Season 8 of 24.
Kiki Wolfkill is an executive producer with 343 Industries and is responsible for the development of the Halo universe. Her work included the development of the story for Halo 4 and Halo 5 Guardians while also collaborating with Ridley Scott on the development of Halo: Nightfall.
Mac Walters is a writer for BioWare who is best known for creating the story for the Mass Effect trilogy and directing Mass Effect: Andromeda. He is also responsible for writing numerous Mass Effect novels.
They will be joined by comic icon Stan Lee, Adam Savage from MythBusters, Sean Astin from Lord of the Rings, acclaimed writer Gary Whitta, Matthew Lewis who is best known his role as Neville Longbottom in the Harry Potter films, Jewel Staite from Firefly, Marvel Editor Jim Shooter, and Andy Weir who wrote The Martian. Also joining them will be Amber Nash and Lucky Yates from Archer. More guests will be unveiled in the months leading up to the event.
Silicon Valley Comic Con 2018 will be from April 6 until April 8 at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center along with the surrounding locations. 8Bit/Digi covered Silicon Valley Comic Con 2017 and we will be present at the 2018 event.
