Retroware has announced that The Transylvania Adventure of Simon Quest demo will be available to download on June 19, 2026, via Steam.

The Transylvania Adventure of Simon Quest is set to launch for the PlayStation 4&5, Xbox Series X|S, the Nintendo Switch, and the PC. The demo will only be available for the PC; it’s unknown when it will be available for other consoles. It will be available starting on on June 19, 2026, during Steam Next Fest Summer 2026.

The Transylvania Adventure of Simon Quest is a parody side-scrolling platformer that puts players in the role of Simon Quest. Having just arrived in Transylvania, he discovers his rival has already slain Dracula. To reclaim the glory that should be his, he journeys across Wallachia to gather what he needs to resurrect the dark count so he can slay him himself.

Players will navigate the overworld and mansions, with plenty of alternate pathways and choices to make. They will move through shifting environments that change appearance and spawn different enemies across the day and night cycles. Along the way, you will find gnarly weapons and items to help you become the true hero of the story.
