Sinister Creature Con 2020 was originally set to take place on June 20th to the 21st. Due to concerns over public safety, the event was postponed to October. With the current state of the pandemic, the organizers made the choice to delay the event to 2021.
Pass holders and exhibitors spaces will have everything rolled over to the 2021 event. The staff is also working to re-book many of the guests. Sinister Creature Con 2021 will take place at the on June 19th to the 20th.
It has also been announce that the October event will now be all digital. Sinister Cyber Con will be a free online event that will take place from October 17th to the 18th.
With a new wave of infections, Sinister Creature Con joins numerous conventions that have been cancelled or postponed. Crunchyroll Expo, SacAnime Summer, CarrierCon and Powerhouse Comic Con have all cancelled their 2020 events. Some are also working to host a digital event.
Sinister Creature Con is a horror film fan convention that is hosted at the Scottish Rite Center in Sacramento.
