Serious Sam 4 follows Sam “Serious” Stone attempting to save the Earth by blasting his way through hordes of Mental forces. Players will once again have access to a massive arsenal of weapons and witty one liners. The game will allow cooperative multiplayer by having 4 player co-op. Also featured is Legion System, which allows players to fight through hordes of monsters in a battlefield.

The game is set to launch sometime in August 2020 for the PC. In regards to a console launch, it will be exclusive to Google Stadia for a year. According to Kotaku, Serious Sam 4 will not launch on PlayStation and Xbox until 2021 due to this exclusive deal.
In honor of this announcement, Steam is having a sale (80% to 90% off) on every game in the series. This includes the core games, spin-off titles and the VR versions of each main entry. The sale will end on May 27th.
