PlayStation 4 gamers will be excited to learn that the Resident Evil 4 remake will also be coming to the console in 2023.

Back in June; Capcom confirmed that the Resident Evil 4 remake was in the works. But it only confirmed the Next-Gen console and the PC. That has now changed as it was confirmed during the Tokyo Game Show 2022 that the Resident Evil 4 remake will also be coming to the PlayStation 4.

At the moment, there are no plans to bring the remake to the Xbox One or Nintendo Switch. However, that could change in the future.

Resident Evil 4 will launch for the PS4, Next-Gen consoles along with the PC on March 24th, 2023. Players will once again take on the role of Leon S. Kennedy, now with the United States Secret Service, as he is tasked with rescuing the Presidents daughter from a mysterious cult that plans to use a weaponized parasite to take over the world.

The original Resident Evil 4 was released in 2005 first for the Nintendo Game Cube followed by the PlayStation 2 several months later. It has since been re-released on every console along with the PC. A VR version was launched for the Oculus Quest 2 in 2022.
