Crunchyroll will be hosting a limited theatrical run of Mobile Suit Gundam: Cucuruz Doan’s Island and several theaters in the Bay Area made the list. 

Mobile Suit Gundam: Cucuruz Doan’s Island will be shown in theaters only on September 27th and September 28th. It should be noted that the subbed version will be shown on September 27th while the dubbed version will be shown on September 28th.

Mobile Suit Gundam: Cucuruz Doan’s Island is a remake of the episode of the same name. The story follows Amuro Ray getting stranded on an island with Cucuruz Doan. Hostile at first, they soon work together to protect Doan’s children against Zeon forces. 

Gundam is a media franchise that follows an interstellar conflict involving mobile suits. The franchise includes the main series followed by numerous spin-offs along with video games and models (dubbed Gunpla). The original series, Mobile Suit Gundam, follows the One Year War between the Earth Federation and the Principality of Zeon.

Those who have not watched the anime series could view most of it on GundamInfo (the official Gundam YouTube channel). Its library includes Mobile Suit GundamIron-Blooded OrphansSEED, The 08th MS Team, and 0080: War in the Pocket.
