After being on the iOs, Xbox, and PC for a year, PlayerUnknown’s Battleground is finally coming to the PlayStation 4.
After a long wait while PC and Xbox gamers were having fun battling it out; it has finally been confirmed that PlayerUnknown’s Battleground is finally coming to the PlayStation 4.
As first reported by the official PlayStation Blog, PlayerUnknown’s Battleground is set to be released on December 7th 2018. The game will include three different pre-order editions with each one coming with a verity of extra content. Those who pre-order any version of the game will receive Nathan Drake’s outfit from Uncharted and Ellie’s backpack from The Last of Us.
In a personal message to the fans that was made available, PS4 Lead Project Manager Koo Sung Jeong has stated:
“One of most memorable moments while developing PS4 PUBG was the first time we had 100 people join a test match. Before the test, the dev team’s mission was to deliver the finished product this year – it was a big challenge and it felt almost impossible. But as soon as we had 100 people drop in for the test, our confidence started to build and and we pushed ourselves harder to make everything happen. We are proud of the game we have created and can’t wait to get it into your hands!”
