After much anticipation, NIS America has announced that Phantom Brave: The Lost Hero will be launching in January 2025.
Phantom Brave: The Lost Hero will launch for the PlayStation consoles, Nintendo Switch, and PC on January 30th, 2025. The announcement was made in the newest trailer that also highlights the games new characters and features.
The Lost Hero is now available for pre-order and fans will have the choice between a standard version or the Limited Edition. The Limited Edition will include the base game along with a collectors box, an art book, an art card set, the official soundtrack, a diorama stand, and a set of coasters.
Phantom Brave: The Lost Hero is the long awaited sequel to Phantom Brave, which was first released on the PlayStation 2 back in 2004. This was followed by a Wii launch in 2009. The game was remastered for the PC in 2016 followed by the Nintendo Switch in 2021.
The sequel once again follows Marona, a girl who can see Phantoms, and her Phantom partner, Ash. Together, they work as contractors who travel to various islands to help people. When a fleet of ghost ships attacks, Marona and Ash are separated. Marona and her new friend, Apricot, must assemble the legendary crew that once defeated these spectral foes.
