Kotone Shiomi Joins the Phantom Thieves

SEGA has launched Version 4.10 of Persona 5: The Phantom X, bringing the Persona 3 Portable special event Reach for the Moon and a new character, Kotone Shiomi.

The update arrives on PC and mobile just days after the Persona series turned 30 on September 20th. It drags the Phantom Thieves into the Dark Hour, a hidden hour between one day and the next, when the Tartarus rises. Fighting alongside them is Kotone Shiomi, the female protagonist of Persona 3 Portable.

Memento Mori

Here is a breakdown of everything new introduced in Version 4.10 of Persona 5: The Phantom X:

• P3P Special Event: Reach for the Moon: Wonder discovers a mysterious door in Paulownia Mall, but stepping through it wipes his memory of Tartarus. Lost in a labyrinth and cornered by Shadows, he is rescued by Kotone Shiomi, and the two push deeper into Tartarus together. Clear the main story to earn training materials, the P3P Music Collection, and P3P artwork to display in the Thieves’ Den.
• Recollections of Fate: Cleared levels can be replayed in Stamina Mode to earn Wheel of Time: Paraselene, which is spent at the Exchange Shop.
• Side Story: Friendships Bloom: Arriving September 30, this side story brings Shinjiro Aragaki into P5X. Wonder and Kotone touch a strange door at the entrance to Tartarus and find themselves in the Central Street of Shibuya. Here, Kotone discovers something intriguing inside the Untouchable shop.
• 5★ Kotone Shiomi: Kotone joins the Most Wanted Phantom Idol Contracts with increased rates until November 11 at 5:59 PM (PT). She is a Fire-attribute Strategist with an exclusive Assist, “Go for Broke,” usable once per battle. Activating it triggers Wheel of Fortune Mode and grants two extra actions, letting her act three turns in a row and stack a huge number of buffs on her allies. She can also enable allies to activate their Highlight or Theurgy.
• P3R Character Comeback: Makoto Yuki, Yukari Takeba, and Akihiko Sanada from Persona 3 Reload return in the Most Wanted Phantom Idol Contract Comeback. The Shot Through the Heart and Fists of Thunder contracts end November 11 at 5:59 PM (PT), while Makoto’s When Moon Reaches Stars contract runs until June 25, 2027, at 6:59 PM (PT).
• P3R Special Event Missions: Earn Gold Tickets by progressing through the Persona 3 Reload event story. More missions unlock October 7 at 7:30 PM (PT).
• Persona 30th Anniversary Login Bonus: Log in for 10 days before October 14 at 6:59 PM (PT) to receive up to 10 Platinum Tickets and a Thieves’ Den collection item featuring the Persona 30th anniversary key art.
• P3P Special Event Login Bonus: Log in for 10 days during the event to receive up to 10 Platinum Milicoins for Arms Deals, plus a Thieves’ Den collection item featuring the Persona 3 Portable box art.
• P3P Special Event Missions: Clear limited-time missions for up to 1,100 Meta Jewels, Joy Medals, Wheel of Time: Paraselene, and more. The event ends November 11 at 5:59 PM (PT).
• P3P Special Event Exchange Shop: Trade Wheel of Time: Paraselene for Platinum Milicoins, Everlasting Incense, Fortune Revelations, and other rewards until November 11 at 5:59 PM (PT).
• P3P Special Event Puzzle: Clear daily and season missions to collect Puzzle Pieces. The further players progress, the more Meta Jewels and Fortune Revelations they earn.
• Official Livestream Gift: Every player receives 600 Meta Jewels to celebrate the update. Claim them before October 14 at 6:59 PM (PT).

Burn My Dread

Persona5: The Phantom X launched on June 26, 2025, for PC and mobile devices. A spin-off of the acclaimed JRPG, it casts players as a student living a double life as a Phantom Thief. By day, they attend school and enjoy activities around the city. By night, they infiltrate cognitive dungeons to steal Treasures and reform the twisted desires of corrupt adults.

The next title in the series, Persona 4 Revival, will launch on February 18, 2027, for the XBOX Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam. The story follows the protagonist, who moves to Inaba, a town shaken by scandal and a string of murders. While investigating a local urban legend called the Midnight Channel, he and his classmates uncover a hidden world inside television screens. Guided by Teddie, an inhabitant of that world, they hunt the killer who has been sending victims there to die.
