Season 2 of NieR: Automata Ver1.1a is set to premiere in Japan on July 5th, 2024. While not confirmed, it could also be speculated that the series will also premiere in North America at the same time. Fans should learn more in the coming weeks.

NieR: Automata Ver1.1a is a retelling of the acclaimed game that follows a proxy war between androids and a machines. The story follows YoRHa No. 2 Type B (2B) and YoRHa No. 9 Type S (9S) as they are dispatched to support the resistance on Earth. The two work to clear out machine bases of operation only to stumble upon something far more sinister.
