Monty Python fans will be thrilled to know that John Cleese will be a guest at GalaxyCon San Jose 2024.

John Cleese is best known as one of the co-founders of the iconic and influential comedy troupe Monty Python. He performed with the group in Monty Python’s Flying Circus, as well as in numerous stage shows and movies. In the films; he is particularly recognized for his roles as Sir Lancelot the Brave and the Black Knight in Monty Python and the Holy Grail, along with various characters in Life of Brian and The Meaning of Life.

Besides his work with Monty Python, Cleese is best known as the star and creator of Fawlty Towers. The series ran for two seasons and has been hailed as one of the greatest British sitcoms. His other notable works include Archie Leach in A Fish Called Wanda and King Harold in the Shrek films.

Guests should be aware that John Cleese will only be available on Saturday and Sunday at GalaxyCon San Jose.

He will be joined by TV legend William Shatner, Sarah Natochenny from Pokemon, Sam Witwer from Star Wars and Janet Varney from The Legend of Korra just to name a few. Addtional guests include Clifford Chapin and Kellen Goff from My Hero Academia along with voice actress and singer AmaLee.

More guests along with details about the special events will become available in the future. Tickets are now available for sale and the hotel block is open. 

GalaxyCon San Jose 2024 will take place at the San Jose Convention Center from August 16th to August 18th. A staple of the fandom community on the East Coast and the Southern US, this will be the first GalaxyCon on the West Coast.
