Guardians of the Galaxy fans are in for a treat as Michael Rooker and Sean Gunn are coming to GalaxyCon San Jose 2026.

Michael Rooker is an actor best known for his role as Yondu Udonta in MCU. Most notably, he has appeared in the Guardians of the Galaxy films. Merle Dixon in The Walking Dead, Jared Svenning in Mall Rats, and Brian Durlin / Savant in The Suicide Squad.

Sean Gunn is an actor who is best known for his role as Kraglin in the MCU. Most notably, he has appeared in the Guardians of the Galaxy films. His other major roles include Marty Espenscheid in The Belko Experiment and Dr. Baker in The Hive. He has also worked on several screenplays and is the younger brother of director James Gunn.

They will be joining puppeteer Steve Whitmire, actor Scott Patterson, along with Peter Facinelli and Kellan Lutz from the Twilight Saga. More guests will be announced in the future along with details about the weekend, special events, and panels. Tickets for the event are currently on sale.

GalaxyCon is a pop-culture fan convention that has been a staple of the fandom community of the East Coast and the Southern US. The San Jose event is their first one on the West Coast. GalaxyCon San Jose 2026 will take place at the San Jose Convention Center from August 21st to August 23rd.
