Anime fans in the East Bay will be delighted to know that Kin-Yoobi Con will return in 2018 and they have an official date set.

Kin-Yoobi Con 2018 will take place on Sunday, August 19th at the Newark Pavilion – located at 6430 Thornton Ave, Newark, CA. Returning to a familiar location will allow fans an easy time to navigate the event while the returning volunteers will be better familiar with the venue.

Given the many events taking place around that time (most notably EVO and MAGWest), the current date was choose to avoid scheduled conflicts. In a post that was made on Facebook, the Kin-Yoobi Con team stated,

“With Evo being August 3-5th and Magwest being August 10-12th Kin-Yoobi con 2018 will be Sunday, August 19th at the Newark Pavilion this year. We try to avoid certain events as much as possible especially ones where we have staff helping out 🙂 Our website will be up next week and thank you for your patience and we hope to see you at Kin-Yoobi con 2018!”
