Junji Ito Virtual Crunchyroll Expo  8Bit/Digi

Virtual Crunchyroll Expo 2020 is only a week away and now it has been announced that Junji Ito will be among the guests. This will be his second appearance at Crunchyroll Expo.

Junji Ito is one of the most iconic horror manga artists. His work is known for blending elements of body horror with Lovecraftian. His most iconic work includes Gyo, The Long Dream and Uzumaki while also creating iconic characters like Tomie along with Souichi Tsujii. Many of his work has been adapted with several films based on Tomie along with the anime series, The Junji Ito Collection.

Recently he published No Longer Human, a manga adaption of the acclaimed novel by Osamu Dazai.

Joining Junji Ito at Virtual Crunchyroll Expo 2020 is a list of voice performers and industry insiders. Among the guests are the creative talent behind The Hidden Dungeon Only I Can Enter, and So I’m a Spider, So What?. Industry leaders include studio founder Arthell Isom. Also on the list is Aoi Yuki and Patrick Seitz from My Hero Academia. These are just a few example and more will be announced in the future.

Virtual Crunchyroll Expo is a digital event that will take place from September 4th to September 6th. The event will feature panels and guest speakers along with interactive events and special screenings.
