Square Enix announces the Final Fantasy Legend Trilogy will be coming to the Nintendo Switch.
In honor of the 30th anniversary of the SaGa series, Square Enix announces the Final Fantasy Legend Trilogy will be coming to the Nintendo Switch.
Collection of SaGa: Final Fantasy Legend is a collection of the first three SaGa games coming to the Nintendo Switch. The original games were released for the GameBoy in the late 80’s and early 90’s. The collection will include The Final Fantasy Legend along with Final Fantasy Legend II and III. It’s set to launch on December 15th 2020.
For those confused, the series was released in Japan as Sa·Ga. The games were rebrabded as Final Fantasy Legend for the global launch as a marketing ploy. They are not connected or part of the Final Fantasy series. The PS2 remake of Romancing SaGa would be the first time gamers outside of Japan would get to truly experience this series.
The last game in the series was SaGa: Scarlet Grace and it was released in Japan in 2016 for the PS Vita. The game was later launched globally for all major consoles in late 2019.
