Bandai Namco has announced that Jump Force is coming to the Nintendo Switch and it’s going to be a special edition of the game.
Jump Force: Deluxe Edition for the Nintendo Switch will feature 50 playable characters from 16 different franchises from the Weekly Shonen Jump. The roster includes all characters released for the Season 1 Character Pass. Players can create a team using three of their favorite characters and battle it out in either story or versus mode.
Exclusive only to the Nintendo Switch version, the game will also feature an offline 3 vs 3 mode. This allows 6 players to control a character on their team of three. Each player will enter the fight as their character when they are tagged. Teams are required to think strategically and knowing when to tag other players.
The Nintendo Switch version is set to be released sometime in 2020. Checkout the the latest trailer here for more details:
Bandai Namco has also announced Season 2 Character Pass for all versions of the game. At the moment, the only confirmed character is Shoto Todoroki from My Hero Academia. The pass will also feature characters from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, Hunter X Hunter and more. Those additional characters will be added in the coming months.
Jump Force, is a fighting game that has players battle it out as an iconic characters from the Weekly Shōnen Jump. The game was released for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC back in 2019. It was released to coincide with the publications 50th Anniversary.
