Following the success of the January 2024 event, HypeCon has announced a trading card game version of the event.

HypeCon TCG Event will take place on Saturday, June 29th. It will be hosted at the South San Francisco Conference Center located at 255 S Airport Blvd. The new HypeCon event will be focuse on trading card game accessories and memorabilia with a focus on Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh, and Magic: The Gathering. 

The guest list at the moment includes Tara Sands and Michael Haigney, both known for their role in the Pokemon series.

Tara Sands is a voice actress best known for her role as 50 different Pokemon. This includes Bulbasaur on Pokemon from Seasons 1 – 8. Her other notable roles include Mokuba Kaiba in the Yu-Gi-Oh! series, Death 13 on JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure and Biscuit Krueger in Hunter × Hunter.

Michael Haigney is a voice actor best known for his role as numerous Pokemon in a variety of adaptations. Most notable include Psyduck in the Pokémon animated series from 1997 to 2005 and Snorlax in Super Smash Bros. games just to name a few. 

Additional guests will be announced in the future. Tickets for the event are now on sale going for $10 for the standard pass or $40 for VIP passes. Prices for tickets will rise the closer it gets to the day of HypeCon TCG Event.
