What to Expect From Persona 4 Revival

Atlus unveiled the second Persona 4 Revival Broadcast over the weekend, highlighting several key elements of the game.

Character Highlights

Here is a look at the characters players will encounter in the world of Persona 4 Revival. They range from members of the Investigation Team to the residents of Inaba City.

Investigation Team

Rise Kujikawa is a high school freshman idol quickly rising to fame. Over the course of the story, she joins the protagonist and unlocks her own Persona, Himiko. She is voiced by Abby Trott.

Teddie is an anthropomorphic bear and the player’s guide through the Midnight Channel. He introduces you to the world and teaches you how to use your Persona. He is voiced by Laila Berzins.

Naoto Shirogane comes from a renowned family of detectives and arrives in Inaba to investigate the murders, only to join the Investigation Team. Her Arcana is Fortune and her Persona is Yamato-Takeru. She is voiced by Amber Lee Connors.

Residents of Inaba City

Ryotaro Dojima is a police detective investigating the killings that have plagued Inaba. He is also the protagonist’s uncle and the father of Nanako Dojima. He is voiced by Ray Chase.

Nanako Dojima is the protagonist’s cousin and Ryotaro Dojima’s only daughter. She is voiced by Courtney Shaw.

Tohru Adachi is a police detective and Ryotaro Dojima’s partner. He is voiced by Johnny Young Bosch, who previously voiced the protagonist in the original Persona 4.

New Social Link Character

Aika Nakamura is the daughter of Aiya’s owners and serves as the restaurant’s face. A classmate of the main character, she’s often seen making deliveries throughout Inaba City. She was mentioned in Persona 4 Golden and first introduced in Persona 4: The Animation. In Revival, she’s a Social Link character. She is voiced by Judy Alice Lee.

Intro to Location Episodes

Location Episodes are a new addition that let players know and connect with other characters. These moments deepen your bond with them and unlock past stories, revealing how those events shaped who they are today. They aren’t limited to Investigation Team members either, since you can also bond with other characters throughout the world. At the same time, they let fans explore the city and learn its history.

Creator Message

The Broadcast concluded with a special message from Ryota Kozuka, sound composer for the Atlus Sound Team. He stressed the need to preserve the game’s original soundtrack while updating it for the remake. He admitted some changes will surprise fans but said they’ll appreciate how the music has been reworked to fit Persona 4 Revival.

More About Persona 4

Persona 4 Revival will launch on February 18, 2027 for the XBOX Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam. The story follows the protagonist, who moves to Inaba City, a town shaken by scandal and a string of murders. While investigating a local urban legend, he and his classmates uncover a hidden world inside television screens, the Midnight Channel. Guided by Teddie, an inhabitant of the Midnight Channel, they hunt the killer who’s been sending victims to the realm to die.

The game is available for preorder with five options: Digital Standard, Digital Deluxe, Digital Premium, Physical Standard, and a Physical Collector’s Edition. The Digital Deluxe Edition includes the base game, the Velvet Outfit Set, and four Persona sets featuring iconic Personas from Persona 3 Reload and Persona 5 Royal. The Digital Premium Edition includes the content of the Digital Deluxe Edition along with the P3R and P5R BGM Sets. The Physical Collector’s Edition includes the base game, an artbook, a steelbook, keycaps and a keychain, a Protagonist and Izanagi statue, and all DLC bonuses.

Ray Chase and Amber Lee Connors will be at Anime Destiny 2026 on November 15th. It’s a one-day anime con hosted at the MLK Student Union on the University of California, Berkeley campus.
