Front Mission 1st: Remake is Verified for Steam Deck

PC gamers who are always on the go will be excited to learn that Front Mission 1st: Remake is now Steam Deck verified.

Forever Entertainment has announced that Front Mission 1st: Remake can now be played on the Steam Deck. This means that the game is fully functional on Steam Deck and works with the built-in controls. The announcement was made on the game’s official Steam Page.

Front Mission 1st: Remake was originally launched on the Nintendo Switch in 2022 before coming to the PC and other consoles in June 2023. The story follows OCU Captain Royd Clive and UCS Officer Kevin Greenfield during the Second Huffman Conflict.

The series is a turn-based mecha JRPG that often follows conflicts between regional unions and economic blocs. The series is known for its rich storytelling along with its RPG rich gameplay. Despite being an iconic mech series, Front Mission was only released in Japan for the PlayStation. Front Mission 3 was the first title in the series to be released outside of Japan.

Front Mission 2: Remake is set to launch sometime in 2023 for the Nintendo Switch.
