Those of you planning to attend Fan Expo San Francisco 2023 will be excited to learn that the first batch of guests have been announced. The guest list currently features Carl Weathers, Peter Weller, Sean Gunn, Jonathan Frakes, James Marsters, and Vivien Lyra Blair.

The Guest List

Carl Weathers is a pop-culture icon with a fulfilling career that spawns multiple decades. He is best known for his role as Apollo Creed in the Rocky movies, Al Dillon in Predator, and Greef Karga in The Mandalorian. His other notable roles include Chubbs Peterson in Happy Gilmore and Combat Carl in Toy Story 4. 

Peter Weller is an actor and scholar who is best known for his role as Alex J. Murphy in RoboCop. His other notable roles include William Lee in The Naked Lunch, Alexander Marcus in Star Trek Into Darkness, and Bruce Wayne / Batman in The Dark Knight Returns. As a scholar, he earned a Ph.D. in Italian Renaissance Art History from UCLA while teaching literature and fine arts at Syracuse University.

Jonathan Frakes is an actor best known for his role as William Riker in the Star Trek series starting with The Next Generation. He has portrayed that character in several movies and video games. He is also a prolific director having worked on numerous episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation, Picard, and Discovery. 

Sean Gunn is an actor who is best known for his role as Kraglin in the MCU. Most notably he has appeared in the Guardians of the Galaxy films. His other major roles include Marty Espenscheid in The Belko Experiment and Dr. Baker in The Hive. He has also worked on several screenplays and is the younger brother of director James Gunn.

James Marsters is an actor best known for his role as Spike in Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel. His other notable roles include Brainiac on Smallville. As a voice actor, he is known for his role as Zamasu in the Dragon Ball series. 

Vivien Lyra Blair is an actress best known for her role as Leia Organa in  Obi-Wan Kenobi. Her other notable role includes Olympia in Bird Box.

Fan Expo San Francisco is a pop-culture fan convention that allows fans the chance to meet the talents behind their favorite work. The 2023 event will take place from November 24th to November 26th at Moscone West.
