From pop-culture icons to scientists; SiliCon with Adam Savage has just unveiled the first batch of special guests for the 2021 event.

The first batch of SiliCon 2021 guests include industry pioneers, respected scientist, professional creators and respected writers. Here is the break down of the confirmed guests while more will be announced in the coming weeks and months.

Performers

Charles Martinet is a voice actor who is best known for his role as Mario in the English version of the Super Mario games since the 1990’s. He has also been the voice of Baby Mario, Luigi, Baby Luigi, and Wario. Outside of the Nintendo world, he has provided the voice of Vigoro in Skies of Arcadia.

JakeThe SnakeRoberts is an wrestling icon who is best known for his time with the WWE between 1986 to 1992 and from 1996 to 1997. He has been inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame and the Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame and Museum.

Lou Ferrigno is a professional trainer and actor who is best known for his role as the Hulk. He played the character in The Incredible Hulk TV series while also having provided his voice in numerous animated adaptations and the Marvel Cinematic Universe (with the role of Dr. Bruce Banner being played by Mark Ruffalo).

Mark Sheppard who is best known for his role as Crowley on Supernatural and Romo Lampkin on the Battlestar Galactica reboot. His other notable roles include Benedict Valda on Warehouse 13 and Badger on Firefly.

Kenn Scott is an actor and screen writer best known for his role as Raphael in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze.

Scientists

Catherine Coleman is a former astronaut who was the Mission Specialists on two Space Shuttle missions and was the Flight Engineer for Soyuz TMA-20.

Kevin Grazier is a planetologist known for his work as the Science Planning Engineer for the Cassini–Huygens Mission. He has also been a science advisor for several TV shows and movies.

Authors

David Gerrold screenwriter best known for his work on the original Star Trek series and The Next Generation. He also wrote the novel The Martian Child (which won the Hugo Award). )

Andy Weir is the acclaimed author of The Martian,which was adapted into a hit film back in 2015. He has been a regular guest at Silicon Valley Comic Con since the first event back in 2016.

Mary Robinette Kowal is an author best known for creating the Lady Astronaut series (for which The Calculating Stars won the Hugo Award for Best Novel in 2019).

Professional Creators and Cosplayers

Hannah Lees Kent is a fashion designer and professional cosplayer know for bringing her work to both the real world along with the digital world. She was responsible for creating Laura Crofts outfit for Shadow of the Tomb Raider along with designed a complete collection inspired by the game for Hot Topic.

Jacqeline Goehner is a professional costume designer and cosplayer with over 15 years of experience. She is best known for her Princess Zelda and Samus cosplay.

Chrissy Lynn is a professional makeup artist, costume designer and cosplayer.
