The Fanimaid Cafe team have announced a series of tryouts for anyone who wants volunteer during the FanimeCon 2020 weekend.

Maid cafes are a staple of anime conventions and the one at FanimeCon has been hailed as one of the best. That is why Fanimaid Cafe will be holding three tryouts in January and February to find qualified volunteers.

Tryouts for Fanimaid Cafe will take place in Los Angeles on January 11th (during Anime LA) at Noon, San Francisco on February 8th and in San Jose on February 23rd at 1pm. Anyone who wants to tryout must be anime fans and needs to be 18+ years of age. Being punctual is also mandatory and anyone who is tardy will be disqualified.

Those who are welcomed to the team are required to provide their own transportation and approved uniform. They have to purchase their own badges but are reimbursed after completing their shift. Volunteers must be able to dedicate 4+ hours for shifts on Saturday and Sunday. They must also attend a mandatory one hour meeting on Friday.

FanimeCon 2019 will be from May 22 until May 25th at the San Jose Convention Center along with the surrounding locations. Tickets are now available for purchase and more information will be available in the coming months.

Fanimaid Cafe is the official maid cafe of FanimeCon and a staple of the event for 12 years.
