During a special event to honor the 20th anniversary of the Kingdom Hearts, Disney and Square announce that a fourth main entry in the series is in the works. Players will once again take on the role of Sora as he he teams up with Donald Duck and Goofy to defeat the Heartless.
More information about Kingdom Hearts IV, including a release date, will be made in future announcements.
Also announced was Kingdom Hearts: Missing-Link, an new game for the iOS and Android devices with a closed beta test planned for sometime in 2022. Finally; the highly anticipated final chapter of Kingdom Hearts: Dark Roads was announced with a planned August 2022 launch.

Kingdom Hearts is a JRPG series that is developed and published by Square Enix in collaboration with Disney. The series follows Sora, Donald Duck and Goofy as they journey to defeat the Heartless and rescue King Micky. The series is well known for blending fantasy elements while creating unique worlds based on Disney franchises.
