While fans eagerly await the premier of Season 3 Pt 2, Koei Tecmo has announced details about Attack on Titan 2: Final Battle. This includes details about the gameplay along with content that will be available for those who pre-order the game.

The gameplay will feature elements that fans are already familiar with along with new weapons and play modes. Also confirmed are the addition of five new playable characters that includes Kenny Ackerman and Zek Jaeger.

The key highlight of the new mechanics will be the Territory Recovery Mode, this will allow players to create their own unit and reclaim the land outside of wall Rose. This is a two step process that requires first requires players to gather supplies and assemble their unit. Once this is is completed, the Outer Campaign begins by having players go out and fight the Titans.

Those who pre-order the Xbox One and PS4 version will receive several unique outfits such as Kenny’s Street outfit and Queen Historia outfit. Details about bonus content for the Nintendo Switch version will be available in the future.

Final Battle is a follow up to Attack on Titan 2 and will focus on the events featured in Season 3. The game will be released on July 5th for all major consoles and the PC.
