The team at Creatures-Con has officially announced the date, location and the first batch of guests for the 2020 event.

Creatures-Con 2020 will take place on August 8th and will once again be held at the Marriott San Ramon. Tickets are on sale now and anyone who purchases one before the convention will be eligible to enter a raffle.

The Guest List

The guest list at the moment the guest list includes Steve Niles, C. Andrew Nelson, Carel Struycken, Michael Horse, Lord Blood-Rah, Miss Misery, Charlotte Stewart, along with John Stanley and the cast of Creature Features.

It’s not really Creatures-Con without Lord Blood-Rah, the co-founder of the convention and host of the the award winning series Lord Blood-Rah’s Nerve Wrackin’ Theatre. 

Steve Niles is a comic book author who is best known for co-creating the iconic horror comic 30 Days of Night, along with its various sequels and spin-offs. His other notable works include Criminal Macabre and Batman: Gotham County Line.

Charlotte Stewart is an actress best known for her role as Mary X in Eraserhead, Betty Briggs on Twin Peaks, and Nancy Sterngood in Tremors.

C. Andrew Nelson is a visual effects artist and actor who is best known for his role as Darth Vader. He played the physical personification of the iconic villain in the Special Edition version of The Empire Strikes Back along with having voiced him in several Star Wars video games.

John Stanley was an entertainment writer for the San Francisco Chronicle and the host of Creature Features from 1979 to 1984.

Vincent Van Dahl along with Tangella and Mr. Livingston are the stars of the revised Creature Features. The show follows the main cast as they screen a horror film while also interviewing a special guest.

Carel Struycken is an actor who is best known for his role as the Fireman in Twin Peaks and Lurch in the Addams Family film trilogy. His other notable role is Moonlight Man in Gerald’s Game.

Michael Horse is an actor best known for his role as Deputy Hawk in the original Twin Peaks and the 2017 revival. He also played a similar role as as Sheriff Tskany in the The X-Files episode “Shapes”.

Miss Misery is the host of the series Miss Misery’s Movie Massacre and is the author of the Monsters series.

This is not a complete guest list as more will be announced in the future. More information about Creatures-Con 2020 will be also be unveiled in the months leading up to the event.
