If you were captivated by the film Your Name but didn’t get the chance to see it in theaters, now is your chance. The Balboa Theater has announced that they will host a screening of the acclaimed film for one night.
AniMonday Presents ~ Your Name will be a special screening of the hit anime film on June 20th at 7:30 pm. It should be noted that this the sub version of the film. Tickets for the film are now on sale, via online. If this is not an anime that interests you, not to worry as they do show other anime classics every other AniMonday.
The Balboa Theater is an independent movie theater located on 3630 Balboa St, San Francisco. They are known for showing indie films, classics tiles, anime films and new releases.
Your Name follows the two teens who are separated by time and distance but are connected by something magical. Mitsuha is a high school girl who is bored of her country life while Taki is a high school boy in Tokyo who spends his days with his friends. One day they both wake up having switched bodies, which puts them on an unforgettable journey.
